Developing Juniors is Our Passion

Creating a Fun learning environment is the focus of all our player development programming. From our youngest beginners through to our elite juniors coaching emphasizes longterm athletic development LTAD to improve performance. Golf is a game to be played and as such giving juniors the tools to score consistently well is vital. The scoring centric approach allows juniors to develop their own unique blueprint which will aid them in consistently shooting lower scores.

PDEV Junior Programming

At Blackburn Golf Academy, our Junior Player Development Program is an exclusive program combines world-class coaching, modern training principles, and a culture of excellence to develop complete players—on and off the course. Grounded in the American Development Model (ADM), our approach integrates athletic movement and performance training to build a solid foundation for long-term success.

Each session challenges, inspires, and cultivates a genuine passion for the game. Offered each Spring and Fall, this 8-week experience covers every dimension of golf: full swing, short game, putting, on-course strategy, and mental performance. Whether your junior is new to golf or refining an advanced skill set, our program delivers personalized instruction in a professional, supportive environment. Join a community of driven young athletes and experience the difference that elite coaching, innovative programming, and unwavering support can make. 

Semester & Schedule

8 weeks of (1 hour) classes 

Swing analysis, individualized instruction & on-course experiences

Golf Etiquette instruction and guidance

Ages 6-10 | Tuesdays @ 4:00-5:00pm & 5:30-6:30pm

Ages 11-14 | Thursdays @ 4:30-5:30pm

Advanced Ages 10-14 | Sundays @ 3:30-5:00pm

Monthly Camps/Clinics

During November, February and select months, Blackburn Golf Academy offers specialized programs that focus on one key aspect of the game proven to elevate your junior golfer’s performance. Each month-long session spotlights a specific area—such as short game, course management, or ball striking—allowing for deep, targeted development.

This focused, off-season training experience provides a fun yet purposeful environment for growth, helping juniors sharpen their skills and maintain momentum year-round. As always, participants receive the highest caliber of instruction and the unwavering support that defines the Blackburn coaching philosophy.

Summer Camps

At Blackburn Golf Academy, our Junior Player Development Summer Camps are designed to inspire young golfers and build the foundation for long-term success. Grounded in the American Development Model (ADM), our camps emphasize athletic movement, coordination, and performance training—key elements in developing well-rounded athletes.

Created for ages 6–10, each day blends expert instruction with fun, engaging activities that challenge, motivate, and nurture a genuine love for the game. Within our supportive and professional environment, juniors not only learn golf fundamentals but also develop the confidence and passion to enjoy the sport for life.

PGA Junior League

Ages 6-13 | $425 for Members | $500 for Non-Members

$99 will goto the PGA Of America, the remainder will be through Blackburn Golf

6 Practices on Thursdays from 5:00-6:00pm on the weeks we have matches | Finalized with match schedule

Playing experience preferred | Must be able to carry bag for 9-holes

Private Instruction

Our new student evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of a client’s functional movement, golf mechanics, and motor learning skills. Once baseline testing is completed the instructor will develop a pattern and practice plan to accomplish the students desired outcome. This process requires a minimum of two hours to complete. Clients are encouraged to select that half and full day evaluation which includes a short game and nine hole playing assessment following the baseline testing.Once a student has completed their evaluation hourly coaching is available by appointment through the online scheduler on our site.
